Native Artist Don Yeomans

Don Yeomans is one of the most respected Artists on the Pacific Northwest coast. He was born in 1958 in Prince Rupert to a Haida Father and a Métis Mother. He apprenticed under the supervision of his aunt in 1979-1971, and in 1976 he enrolled in the fine arts program in Vancouver, He then studied fine arts at Langara college. Don Yeomans work is displayed in the University of British Columbia museum of anthropology and the royal British Columbia museum.
