Ancestral Mask

This Ancestral Mask is carved in red cedar, painted with acrylic paint and features cedar bark on the top and sides of the mask. Our assumption is that it was carved about 15 to 20 years ago by a Kwakwaka´wakw or Kwakiutl Native Artist from Vancouver Island or Alert Bay. It is not signed or dated. The mask is about 12 inches long, 9 1/2 inches wide and 8 inches deep.
