Born Leader by Alano Edzerza is a Giclée print with the following size 23 inches wide x 22 inches high. The Giclée Print is limited to an edition of 200, each numbered, titled and signed by the artist. The Chilkat people are known for their robes, or blankets. The term “Chilkat weaving” applies to any garment woven by these peoples. Elaborate blankets for ceremonies were woven by hand and these intricate designs would sometimes take years to craft. Born Leader depicts a repeating Chilkat design of a human in traditonal colours of blue, yellow and black.
