These Kwakwaka'wakw Salal Leaf earrings are carved in Sterling Silver by Mike Sedgemore from the Kwakwaka'wakw or Kwakiutl Nation. Salal is an evergreen shrub found all along the Pacific Northwest Coast. The fresh or dried berries are used for food and the branches and leaves are used to protect humans against evil spirits. The earrings are 1 1/4 inches long and up to 7/8 of an inch wide. The price includes shipping to the USA and Canada.
